About Dr. Tamika Henry
is a Southern California native who earned both her Bachelor of Science and Doctorate of Medicine degrees from the University of Southern California. She also earned her Masters in Business Administration from the University of California, Irvine. Since 2001, Dr. Tamika has been practicing as a board certified Family Physician.She is a certified practitioner with the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) and has certification in BioIdentical Hormone Replacement Therapy. Dr Tamika has received extensive training in the area of obesity medicine.
As a physician, I can relate very well to the multitude of stressors that can hit a person on a daily basis. I understand that people are often searching for more hours in a day to accomplish the several tasks set before them. As a result, I wanted to encourage people to STOP being reactive to life and START being proactive with their lives. Therefore, I developed a practice that enables me to connect with my patients, encouraging them to embrace life and set forth on a path that develops personal well-being, inner and outer beauty and a healthier lifestyle.
